The 16th biennial Symposium on Antennas & Propagation (APSYM2018), organized by the Department of Electronics of the Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi is scheduled to be held during 3 – 5 December 2018. This symposium is organized as a biennial event since it was first started in 1988 to commemorate the centenary of the generation and detection of electromagnetic waves by Heinrich Hertz. This Symposium is intended to provide a forum for the researchers in the area of Antennas & Propagation to interact with each other and present their innovative ideas and findings.

Sad Demise of Prof. C S Sridhar (1941 - 2018)
With deep sorrow, APSYM Organizing Committee informs the demise of Prof. C S Sridhar, on the 26th of Nov 2018 . He was a former Professor and the Head of Department of Electronics, CUSAT (1978 - 80 and 1995 - 98) and was scheduled as a speaker for APSYM 2018. He had been actively supporting all the activities and initiatives of the Department since its inception.

APSYM 2018 Program Schedule
The University located 15Km north of Cochin city and 15Km south of Nedumbassery International airport.
Limited double room accommodation is available at the University guest house.
All full papers submitted will be subjected to a review process through an international review panel. The Full paper format is IEEE style. Submissions should not exceed 4 pages and should be formatted in the standard template available. Click here for more details.
